Opening times for 2016
House and Chapel:
Open Monday to Sunday, 29th February to 30th October: 11:00-17:00, 31st October to 30th December: 11:00-15:00 and 24th December/31st December: 11:00-14:00. Last admission to the house is 1 hour before closing. Timed tickets to house (limited numbers). House ticket booking available via web site.
Garden and estate:
Open Monday to Sunday, 29th February to 30th October: 10:00-18:00, 31st October to 30th December: 10:00-17:00, 24th December/31st December: 10:00-15:00. 20% reduction for café and shop if arriving by bicycle, on foot or public transport.

Restaurant and Shop

Step inside this Gothic Revival mansion and discover a magical place, bristling with towers and turrets. Lived in by four generations of the Gibbs family, Tyntesfield tells the story over 160 years of family life. 500 acres of woodland, parkland and gardens, including a working Victorian kitchen garden make for a day out filled with fresh air and inspiration.

Tyntesfield's experienced learning team hold learning sessions for schools throughout the year, offering inspiring and stimulating learning experiences and great facilities.
From experiencing the natural environment to handling real artefacts all the educational sessions support learning across a range of subjects from pre-school to Key Stage 4 and beyond. Indoor facilities are available in the Sawmill Learning Centre.
Tyntesfield also offers professional development opportunities for primary school teachers and teaching assistants. Carried out in partnership with the Science Learning Centre South West, courses include gardening in schools, cross-curricular learning and outdoor learning. Commercial Hire & Services
Tyntesfield's Sawmill Learning Centre lies at the heart of the estate and provides modern facilities in a unique historic building. It is a fully accessible flexible space with facilities for 100, complete with induction loops and mobility parking.
