Time Periods

Built in 1869, the historic pier at Clevedon was a place where travellers could board a passenger boat to south Wales during the Victorian era. Now it houses a shop, booking office for boat trips and an art gallery.

Did You Know?

Much of the pier was built out of leftover rail discarded from Isambard Kingdom Brunel's broad-gauge South Wales Railway.
