Get Involved!

There’s plenty of ways to get involved and support the heritage in your area. Here's just a few:

Volunteering

Are you fascinated by Somerset’s history? Do you want to give something back to your community? If so…volunteer! Get involved with your local museum.

Donating Objects

The vast majority of the collections you see in museums are donated by members of the public. If you have objects, documents or photographs that you think a museum may be interested in, why not enquire?

Donating Money and Services

Museums rely heavily on the generosity of the public and their volunteers to carry out their work successfully. Donations of time, money and services all help to preserve and promote the county’s heritage.
