Curious, More Curious and Most Curious
Frome Museum are hosting a Finds and Artefacts Day as part of the Festival of British Archaeology. Please bring any items you have found or dug up and would like identified or learn more about. Experts will include
Laura Burnett - Finds Liaison Officer (Somerset). Laura is particularly interested to see and record antique things people have found in their gardens, fields or other sites in and around Frome.
David Robinson - Coins and Medals. Most of us have old coins rattling around the house - now's your chance to bring them out and find out their provenance! Coins find their way into people's possession in all sorts of ways; for example, they might find, inherit or purchase them. The coins might be very old or quite new and may come from far flung places across the world. They might not even prove to be a coin at all!
Frome Museum will be open from 10am to 3pm with all our experts available from noon until we close.
